Dolores, who has been in the news for the wrong reasons lately, moved to debunk rumours of being a stumbling block in Ronaldo's relationship with long-time girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez.

She recently opened a shop in Ronaldo's hometown, Madeira, Portugal, as Ronaldo's family continues to expand their business conglomerate, per Sportskeeda.

Aside from spreading the business tentacles of her son, Dolores also brought to light her dream of watching her son and grandson play together.

The 68-year-old disclosed as quoted by CristianoXtra: “My dream is that Cristiano Jr. plays with his father, Cristiano Ronaldo.”

Her dream might appear outlandish but not out of the remits of possibility considering Ronaldo's burning desire to continue playing football as he seeks to squeeze water out of stone in the twilight of a glistening career.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Junior, who turns 13 in June, plays for Mahd Academy in Saudi Arabia, having had previous stints with the academies of Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo’s mother, Dolores Aveiro, who has been persistently pinpointed as the stumbling block in the couple's marriage, has moved to reject claims that the two are close to separating, Sports Brief reported.

She clarified this to the press while opening a shop in Ronaldo's native hometown of Madeira, Portugal, after several sources claimed the relationship was nearing its end.

The pair - Ronaldo and Georgina - had also debunked the claims in recent weeks with different posts on social media channels. Ronaldo uploaded a picture of the two kissing and captioned it, “Cheers to love”.
