FootballJoao Felix: The Interesting Scenario that Could See Chelsea Lose Forward to Man United
- Manchester United could be poised to make a move for Joao Felix
- The Portuguese forward is currently on loan at Chelsea and is keen on staying in the Premier League next season
- However, Felix is open to leaving Chelsea and playing for a Premier League side that is in the Champions League
Manchester United have been handed a huge incentive to make a move for Joao Felix, as the talented Portuguese forward is reportedly intent on staying in the Premier League.
Felix made the move to Chelsea from Atletico Madrid in the January transfer window and despite the Blues undergoing a transitional period, his performances have been quite impressive.
He has so far managed three goals in 17 appearances, with his latest strike coming in the 3-1 win against Bournemouth on May 6.

According to interesting reports from Cope, Felix could now end up playing for Chelsea’s rivals next season as he is keen on being in the Champions League in the 2023/24 campaign.
The forward has also been linked with teams like Arsenal, Newcastle United and Liverpool, but the Red Devils remain favourite to sign him based on what the two parties need.
Atletico Madrid would not mind extending the 23-year old’s loan spell, but are hoping the likes of Newcastle renew their interest in him.
The Champions League factor
Chelsea are on course for a lowly finish in the league, and they will certainly not be in Europe next season.
This will likely make it extremely difficult for the club to retain Felix’s services, especially because they already have an influx in attacking players after their mass spending under new owner Todd Boehly.
Should Manchester United manage a top four finish, it would significantly boost their chances of landing Felix.
Sadio Mane linked with stunning return to the Premier League
FootballHowever, Mauricio Pochettino, who is set to take over as the new Chelsea manager, could have a say in it all as he reportedly ranks Felix very highly and wants to keep him at Stamford Bridge
Fernandes makes interesting Man United claims
Sports Brief also reported on Bruno Fernandes’ interesting claims about Manchester United and their European ambitions this season.
Fernandes did an interview with Sky Sports recently where he claimed not many fans expected them to be challenging for Champions League football, despite spending massively in the transfer market last summer.
United need to garner nine points from a possible 12 from their remaining games of the season to ensure they finish above Liverpool, who have turned the corner in terms of their form in recent weeks.
