Cristiano Ronaldo's mother, Dolores Aveiro, has explained why she does not visit her son and his family often in Saudi Arabia.
Portuguese media reports alleged the Al-Nassr star was fed up with his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, and they could be on the verge of splitting up.
The reports further indicate that Dolores and Georgina do not have a good relationship.
According to Marca, Dolores is preventing his son from marrying Georgina because she believes the former storekeeper is in for financial gains in case of a divorce.

However, the 68-year-old has dismissed any suggestion that she has stopped visiting her son and his family because her relationship with Georgina was on the rocks.
While at an event in a shopping centre in Funchal, Portugal, Dolores was quizzed about her relationship with her son and visits to his house.
“It takes many hours by plane. It’s very tiring,” she said, as quoted by Essentially Sports.
Travelling to Saudi Arabia from Portugal takes 15 to 20 hours for a one-way flight. It is mandatory for flights to have a layover in Dubai before moving to Riyadh when travelling from Lisbon.
