German-born defender, Derrick Kohn has declared his readiness to play for the Black Stars of Ghana.
The Hannover 96 left-back has represented Germany at youth levels, but remains eligible to play for the four-time African champions due to his parents' heritage.
Kohn is enjoying a good season in the Bundesliga II, having scored five goals and provided five assists in 30 matches for his club.
"It would be an honour for me to be invited to join the Black Stars under the guidance of Chris Hughton, and I can confidently say that I am ready to represent Ghana," he told Hot FM, as quoted by GHANASoccernet.

The 24-year-old has been in fine form for Hannover, per TransferMarkt, and could join the likes of Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer and Patric Pfeiffer as German-born players representing Ghana.
"For me, Derrick is the best left-back in the league. He demonstrated that impressively today," said Hannover 96 manager, Stefan Leitl.
The Ghana Football Association are reportedly in talks with the defender ahead of the next international break.
