Former Real Madrid gaffer, Fabio Capello, has made it clear that Victor Osimhen's style of play is similar to that of Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland, as he hailed the two super strikers.

This season in Europe, Osimhen and Haaland have been making the headlines for positive reasons, most especially their brilliant ways of scoring goals for their clubs.

In the Premier League this season, Haaland is leading the goalscoring charts with 35 goals, while Osimhen is also the top scorer in Italy with 23 goals.

According to reports on Brila and Punch, Capello says Haaland and Osimhen have been wonderful this season for their clubs.

Capello hails Osimhen, Haaland

“I don’t think Haaland is under pressure, because he has anger inside.
“He lives for goals. Osimhen has the same thing, they live for this. They fight, they want to win, they help their teammates, and they transmit this determination that makes you win games.”

Haaland’s father clashes with fans

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how unpleasant scenes were witnessed at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on May 9 after Erling Haaland's father, Alfie clashed with Real Madrid fans.

The senior Haaland was in the Spanish capital to watch his son and his Manchester City teammates play Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

Despite early pressure and dominance from Pep Guardiola's team, it was the record European champions who struck first thanks to a fine belter from Vinicius Junior.

Kevin De Bruyne restored parity in the second half with an equally good shot of his own, to set up a feisty contest at the Etihad Stadium next week.
