After 15 years with La Blaugrana, FC Barcelona captain, Sergio Busquets has confirmed he will leave the club this summer, with the midfielder reportedly considering a move to the MLS in America.
This comes amid another torrid summer transfer window awaiting Barcelona, with the club already requiring its senior players to undergo wage cuts.
The 34-year-old has won over 30 trophies during his stay at Barcelona, including seven Copa del Rey titles, seven Spanish Super cups, eight La Liga crowns, and three UEFA Champions League successes.

The midfielder reportedly informed the Catalans of his decision to call time on his spell at Camp Nou earlier this month. Despite Xavi's apparent efforts to convince his former teammate to continue with the team, he stated he ready for a new challenge.
Busquets said on Instagram, translated as follows: "The moment has arrived to announce this is my last season at Barcelona. It has been an unforgettable journey."
