Kevin De Bruyne's equaliser for Manchester City versus Real Madrid in the Champions League semifinal should not have been allowed to stand, per images released using 3D technology.
The Belgium international brought the Sky Blues back into the game in the 67th minute after finding the back of the net with a delightful strike from distance to make it 1-1.
The Citizens were trailing at half time thanks to a Vinicius Junior long-range effort, with De Bruyne then scoring from an almost identical spot.
But according to Talk Sports, the goal infuriated Real Madrid players and manager Carlo Ancelotti, who believed it shouldn’t have stood.

The Italian gaffer felt that Bernardo Silva had controlled the ball back-in from over the touchline in the build-up to De Bryune's goal.
VAR didn't review the goal, and referee Artur Dias booked Ancelotti for dissent.
“Silva's ball went out, and I saw it, but I don't understand why the referee didn’t check VAR,” Ancelotti said after the match via Madrid Zone.
Former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, discussed the City goal during the game on beIN Sports before the network's 3D technology established that the ball had actually gone out of play.
"VAR should have checked Bernardo Silva's controlling the ball out of play," Wenger said, via Madrid Zone.
