A section of fans has taken to social media to mock Erling Haaland for allegedly going missing during Manchester City's Champions League cracker against Real Madrid.
Haaland was part of City's squad that settled for a 1-1 draw against the reigning champions in the first leg of the semi-final fixture staged at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night.
The Norwegian hotshot went into the clash off a fantastic run of form that had seen him score an eyewatering 51 goals across competitions.
According to Sporting News, 12 of those goals have come in the Champions League in just eight appearances.

The 22-year-old was hoping to continue with his fine run against Real but made little to no impact.
His less influential role in the match earned him criticism from a section of players, who accused him of going missing at Santiago Bernabeu.

The two European heavyweights settled for a 1-1 draw, with Vinicius Jr and Kevin De Bruyne finding the back of the net.
