Lionel Messi's potential move to Saudi Arabia has received a subtle blow, with his wife, Antonella Roccuzzo reportedly hesitant about the deal.

The Middle East option has now also encountered a setback, with Goal reporting that Messi's wife is not sold on the idea.
Roccuzzo is said to be hesitant about moving with their three young sons, while L'Equipe adds that the veteran himself would prefer to stay in Europe.
Messi's archrival for the last fifteen years, Cristiano Ronaldo recently moved to Saudi Arabia when he joined Al-Nassr in January.
