Mamelodi Sundowns are 'so good, winning is easy' according to coach, Rhulani Mokwena after stretching an unbeaten South African Premiership run to 23 games with a 2-0 win at Marumo Gallants last Saturday.
Thapelo Morena put the champions ahead after 25 seconds, the fastest goal in the league since January 2020, and Themba Zwane added a second at 52 minutes at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
Speaking to SuperSport after the match that Sports Brief observed, Mokwena said:
"We have the toughest schedule of any club in the country, but we are so good winning is easy. My smile says it all. We were very, very good tonight. I am so proud of these players. It is a pleasure and an honour to coach them."

Mokwena took over fully last October and has also guided the Tshwane-based outfit to the CAF Champions League semi-finals, where they face defending champions, Wydad Casablanca.
The first leg is at the Stade Mohammed V in Morocco on May 13, with the return match at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium seven days later.
Sundowns sealed a sixth straight DStv Premiership title on April 1 with a record seven matches to spare and are hoping to match or beat other milestones.
They host relegation-threatened Maritzburg United on May 16 in their final domestic fixture and a victory would equal their record of 22 victories in a 30-match season. Winning would also take them to 72 points, one point more than the benchmark they set in their 2015/16 campaign.

FootballDefeat for the outplayed Gallants kept them in 14th place, ahead of Chippa United on goal difference and three points above Maritzburg United, having played one match more than the fellow strugglers.
The club finishing last is relegated while the side coming second-last goes into the play-offs with two second-division sides, with one Premiership place up for grabs.
Before their final league outing, Gallants now switches their attention to the CAF Confederation Cup, with the first leg of a semi-final against Young Africans of Tanzania in Dar es Salaam on May 10.

The football competition has recently named the coach of the month as well as the player of the month.
