Heartwarming photos have emerged on social media where Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo was spotted signing a Manchester United jersey for a fan in Japan hours before the Asian Champions League final.
Ighalo was at Old Trafford for one season scoring incredible goals for the Red Devils before he was allowed to leave after the expiration of his contract.
The former Watford star also broke the record as the first Nigerian to play for Manchester United.
But despite Ighalo no longer playing in the Premier League, the Nigerian star still holds the Red Devils high as he obliged the request of a Japanese fan.
According to the report on Soccernet, the Japanese fan saw Ighalo walking on the street and took a Man United jersey to him to sign it.
The Nigerian was happy to see the shirt he wore for one season and he granted the request.

Ighalo Outshines Cristiano Ronaldo
Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Nigerian international, Odion Ighalo was the star of the match after scoring a brace in Al-Hilal’s 2-0 win over Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.
Ighalo scored from the penalty spot in the 42nd and 62nd minutes, to ensure his side claimed all three points at home against the Cristiano Ronaldo-captained side.
Ighalo has now scored 18 goals in 22 matches to lead the scorer’s chart, even though he failed to find the net in three of their previous matches.
With 49 points on the standings, Al-Hilal remain in fourth place, seven points behind leaders, Al-Ittihad.
Ighalo rejects claims
Sports Brief also reported how Nigeria striker, Odion Ighalo responded to claims that his Lionel Messi-like celebration during Al-Hilal's victory over Al-Nassr was a jab at the Argentine's long-time rival, Cristiano Ronaldo.
