Victor Osimhen has charged Napoli fans to continue the celebrations after fulfilling his promise of delivering the Serie A title to the club.

The Nigeria striker promised to help Napoli win the Scudetto when he first arrived in Naples in 2020 following several attempts by the club in recent years.

In just his third season with the club, the Super Eagles star inspired Gli Azurris to their first Serie A title in 33 years.

"Dear Neapolitans, The Scudetto Has Been Delivered!!! Now We Feast!!!!," wrote Osimhen on Twitter.
He later added: "A Prophecy Fulfilled! GOD Is The Greatest."

Osimhen scored the goal that would clinch Napoli the title following a 1-1 draw at the Darcia Arena against Udinese on Thursday night.

The former Wolfsburg striker also broke a Samuel Eto'o long-standing record as the African player with the most goals in a single Serie A season, with his 22nd strike of the campaign.

Osimhen's future at Napoli will be determined this summer with several clubs, including Bayern Munich and PSG interested in the 24-year-old.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen has broken his silence after leading Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years.

The 24-year-old Nigerian striker scored the goal that crowned Napoli as champions of Italy after netting the equalizer in the 1-1 draw at Udinese on Thursday night.
