Former Chelsea and Arsenal goalkeeper, Petr Cech, has revealed that ex-Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is the player he feared the most during his playing days.
Rooney was widely regarded as one of the most talented and aggressive strikers of his generation, having terrorized defenses in the English Premier League for over a decade.
Cech, who has been inducted in the Premier League Hall of Fame, opened up on an encounter between Rooney and former teammate Michael Essien, which made him fear the English striker.
"Wayne Rooney," he answered when asked by the Premier League who the toughest player he faced was. "It could be Roy Keane but you know, I go with Wayne Rooney because the only time I have seen Michael Essien bumping into a player and falling, the only time in his entire career was when he clashed with Rooney," he added.

Cech and Essien won several titles together during their time together at Chelsea before the Ghanaian left for AC Milan.
