Nigerian player, Shola Ogundana, has joined Brazilian giants Flamengo on a season-long loan deal from Nigerian topflight side Remo Stars, with the club ready to make the deal a permanent one at the end of the term.
This new development comes months after Ebenezer Akinsanmiro joined Serie A giants, Inter Milan also from Remo Stars as the club continues to transfer their players abroad.
Before completing his move to Flamengo, Shola Ogundana was with Remo Stars' Under 19 side and had scored seven goals for them this term in the local league.
According to reports on Daily Post and Naija Footballer, Shola Ogundana will play for Flamengo’s U-20 side, and Remo Stars will receive $500,000 if the move is made permanent at the end of the term.

Speaking to Sports Brief on Shola Ogundana's move to Flamengo, Remo Stars' owner Kunle Soname explained that his desire is to produce local players who can go to Europe and make Nigerians proud.
