Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had a reunion to forget with Arsenal fans at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night as a section of the Gunners fanbase booed him.
The Gabonese striker spent four years with Arsenal before his unceremonious exit in January 2022 after an alleged fallout with Mikel Arteta.
Auba had enjoyed a sensational career with the Gunners, especially during the tenures of Arsene Wenger and Unai Emery, that saw him rise through the ranks to become one of the club's most important squad members.
So much so that he was named the club's captain in November 2019 by Emery after Granit Xhaka was stripped of the armband.

However, Sky Sports reports that Auba lost the armband two years later under Mikel Arteta, with the decision marking the genesis of his tribulations.
The former Dortmund attacker was subsequently offloaded by the Arsenal boss the following transfer window, with the striker joining Barcelona in a free transfer.
Aubameyang booed at the Emirates
