It have Spurs fans a sense of Dejavu, as only days ago, they went 5-0 down against Newcastle United in what was interim boss Cristian Stellini’s final game in charge, as per BBC.

But thanks to goals from Harry Kane and a second half strike from Heung Min Son in the 77th minute, Spurs gave themselves a lifeline as they tried to force a comeback as they did against Manchester United.

Ryan Mason’s half time team talk must have done something for Spurs as they somehow found an equalizer through substitute Richarlison with a header which marked his first Premier League goal of the season.

Richarlison’s goal came in the third minute of added time, but there was still time for late drama as Liverpool, against the odds, somehow went forward again and came up with a devastating sucker punch for Spurs.

Diogo Jota pounced on a mistake from Lucas Moura to slot home from a difficult angle, sending Anfield in hysterics.

The win will have interesting ramifications on the table, as Liverpool climbed to fifth on the log at the expense of their opponents on the day.

Van Dijk humiliated with sublime skill
