Ghanaian forward, Latif Blessing has finally been reunited with his family in the United States, where he plies his trade for the New England Revolution.

Blessings' wife and child, who have been living in Ghana since he moved to the Major League Soccer, joined him Stateside on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

The winger has been trying to get his family to the US since his days with the Los Angeles FC, but failed in the past due to paper works.

However, his new club New England Revolution, made sure his family could travel and stay with him in America.

In a video shared on social media, an excited and emotional Blessing is seen introducing his child to coach Bruce Arena and colleagues at New England.

Blessing joined New England Revolution in January after helping LAFC win the 2022 MLS title.

The former Ghana Premier League golden boot winner has made five appearances and provided an assist in the 2023 MLS campaign.

New England Revolution, who have another Ghanaian Ema Boateng in their squad, sit top of the Eastern Conference table.

Blessing joins New England Revolution

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghanaian midfielder, Latif Blessing has left Los Angeles FC to join New England Revolution, just two months after winning the Major League Soccer championship with the California-based club.

Blessing played a key role in the success of LAFC last term, despite missing most of the post-season.

The former Liberty Professionals player leaves LAFC as the player with the most appearances for the MLS franchise, having played 145 games for the club.

Blessing and Opoku win 2022 MLS

Ghanaian duo Kwadwo Opoku and Latif Atta Blessing have won their first-ever Major League trophy with Los Angeles FC.

Opoku came on in the second half to replace Cristian Arango as the game was forced into extra-time following a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Banc of California Stadium.

In a dramatic extra-time, former Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale scored late in injury time to force the game into penalties as LAFC won the shootouts.
