Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus has been named EA Sport's 2022/23 Eredivisie Team of the Season.

The 22-year-old has been in outstanding form for Dutch giants Ajax this season, scoring 18 goals across all competitions.

Although Kudus had a tough start to the campaign and was on the verge on leaving last summer, Ajax managed to keep their most priced asset.

Kudus has been key to Ajax's campaign, helping them reach the final of the KNVB Cup even though it looks like they might be relinquishing their league title to Feyenoord, who sit top of the Eredivisie table with an eight point lead over PSV.

According to Sportskeeda, Kudus is joined by teammates Dusan Tadic and Steven Bergwijn. Other players on the list are PSV's Xavi Simons and Joey Veerman while Feyenoord have Lutsharel Geertruida and Orkun Kokcu. AZ Alkmaar's Vangelis PavlidisL also makes the list.

Kudus has been out with an injury for the past two weeks but he s expected to make the team for the KNVB Cup final against PSV on Sunday.
