The President of the Spanish Football Federation, Luis Rubiales is the latest high-profile personnel to show his excitement at the possibility of Lionel Messi returning to La Liga this summer.
The 35-year-old ditched La Liga in heartbreaking fashion in 2021 after Barcelona failed to renew his deal owing to the club’s financial struggles, leading him to join French giants Paris Saint-Germain.
