FootballAston Villa Star Mocks Jadon Sancho Ahead of Clash Against Manchester United
- Leon Bailey has sent a sarcastic warning note to Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho
- The two players' sides will face off at Old Trafford on Sunday as they both chase European qualification
- Sancho is keen on making amends after United blew away a 2-0 lead against Tottenham Hotspur
Aston Villa winger Leon Bailey has dared Jadon Sancho as his side prepare to face Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.
Unai Emery's side will put their resurgence on the line when they travel to face the Red Devils in a game that will have severe ramifications on European places for next season.
Villa have been unplayable since Emery was appointed last year. His first game in charge was against Sunday's opponents, where he won 3-1. He has since taken the Midlands team from 17th place on the log to 6th on the table, with Ollie Watkins particularly impressive.
Ahead of the encounter, Bailey and Sancho have traded words, albeit lightly. Sancho took to Instagram to apologise to Manchester United fans after they threw away a 2-0 lead against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday.

Sancho was among the goals, with Marcus Rashford adding a second one. However, Pedro Porro and Heung-min Son restored parity in the second half.
Sancho vs Bailey
The England international wrote:
"Disappointed not to come away with the win last night! Onto Sunday to make things right!"
Making things right in this context would only mean a win and Bailey took cognizance of the fact that Sancho wanted to win against his team. The Jamaican star responded:
"Let's see about making things right!"
Ironically, Bailey is a doubt for that game, having missed Villa's last three games with a thigh injury. The two know each other from their Bundesliga days, where Bailey turned out for Bayer Leverkusen while Sancho was in Borussia Dortmund's books.

FootballSancho's silky skill vs Everton
Sports Brief has previously reported that Sancho excited Manchester United fans with a filthy piece of skill during their Premier League clash against Everton on April 8th.
Sancho has had his fair share of problems since he joined from Borussia Dortmund two summers ago. The winger showed glimpses of his quality as the Red Devils saw off a resilient Everton side to continue with their top-four charge.
United launched a quick counter-attack with Sancho driving forward and in a bid to stop him, Gray and Onana double-teamed the England international. Both Toffees stars were decided after Sancho changed his pace to cut inside, leaving the two players on the floor, much to the delight of the Old Trafford faithful.
