Luka Modric is a doubt for Real Madrid's key games against Manchester City in the Champions League, as well as versus Osasuna in the Copa del Rey final, after picking up a thigh injury.
The 37-year-old was hooked off in Los Blancos' 4-2 defeat to Girona on Tuesday and is said to immediately had ice applied to his upper leg after experiencing significant pain.
The Spanish powerhouse confirmed the news on its website on Friday, in a short statement that said the knock would be 'monitored.'
The Athletic claims Modric is expected to be out for around 'two weeks'. This will be a big blow for Carlo Ancelotti's side, as the Croatian remains a key player at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

The Croatian is not expected to be back in time for Real Madrid's Copa del Rey final match against Osasuna and La Liga games against Almeria and Real Sociedad on Saturday and Tuesday, respectively.
Modric's performance this season
As reported by Football Espana, Modric has played 44 games this season, scoring six goals for the Spanish giants.
The former Tottenham Hotspur star boasts valuable experience in the latter stages of big tournaments, after five Champions League wins with Real Madrid and two impressive World Cup campaigns with Croatia.
