Vinicius Junior was not happy with the refereeing during Real Madrid’s last La Liga fixture.
The La Liga champions were thrashed by Girona, losing 4-2 on the night.
Valentin Castellanos was the star of the show as he scored four goals, Eurosport reported, and not even a goal and assist from Vini could save Madrid.
While the Brazilian had a good attacking game, he was criticised for his attitude during the encounter. Football Espana reported that Vini often clashed with Girona players and was often seen arguing with the referee. After the game, he took to social media to complain about the referee, using emojis to suggest that he didn’t understand how referees operated in La Liga.

Vini used the tweet to complain about how he was booked, even though he felt he was on the receiving end of a foul. Vinicius has often complained about refereeing in La Liga this season. The Brazilian feels that he is often fouled by opposition players, but they are never punished for it.
Carlo Ancelotti has also come out in defence of Vinicius, saying that the player has been targeted, but hasn’t received the same amount of protection from referees as others.
Vini unhappy with league referees
Sports Brief previously reported that Vinicius Junior was unhappy with the refereeing in La Liga.
The Real Madrid attacker hit out at the officiating, after Real Madrid's victory over Espanyol.
Vinicius was on the scoresheet as Los Blancos won 3-1, but also received a yellow card during the encounter.
