Taty Castellanos, on loan from MLS side, New York City FC, stole the headlines with an impressive four goals as Girona hit Los Blancos for four.
The Argentine forward helped Girona race to a two-nil lead with a brace in 25 minutes, before completing the demolishing exercise all by himself with two goals in the second half.
Carlo Ancelotti's men could only stumble to a humbling 4-2 loss, the BBC reports.

Madrid's defeat helps La Liga leaders and eternal rivals, Barcelona edge closer to their first league trophy since 2019 with a healthy 11-point lead, which could stretch to 14 if La Blaugrana record a win at Rayo Vallecano, per Eurosport.
