Anderlecht midfielder, Abdul Majeed Ashimeru has paid tribute to late Ghanaian dancehall artist, Rudebwoy Ranking.
The award winning musician passed away on April 24 after losing his battle with illness.
Ashimeru and Rudebwoy Ranking grew up in the same area of Accra, Ghana and have been friends since childhood.
The death of the dancehall singer came as a shock for Ashimeru, who took to social media to express his grief.

"Rest well," he wrote with a heartbroken emoji on Facebook.
Rudebwoy Ranking, known in real life as Mustapha Rahman, has since been buried according to Islamic funeral rites.
The singer is known for several hit records and has performed on the same stage as some of the big stars in Ghana, including Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
Meanwhile, Ashimeru is having an outstanding season in Belgium with Anderlecht, having made 28 league appearances, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
He debuted for the Black Stars against South Africa in 2021 but had to wait until 2023 to make his second appearance for the national team. He came on in the second half of the match against Angola in March.
