In addition to the new logo, Sport Bible also reported that the Spanish top flight league will also be renamed as 'LaLiga EA Sports FC' as of the same season, as a result of the new title partnership with EA Sports.

Barcelona want Tebas out

Meanwhile, Barcelona have released an official statement demanding the immediate resignation of Javier Tebas as La Liga president, in a shocking twist to the 'Negreira scandal'.

The league chief is facing public scrutiny after it emerged he had provided Spanish prosecutors with false evidence, allegedly in a bid to incriminate the Catalans in the ongoing case.

According to Football Espana, Barcelona expressed anger, dismay, and indignation at the claims and called for an explanation from Tebas as to the serious allegations against him.

The Catalan giants, who have been rocked by bribery allegations recently, have also called for the La Liga president to step down from his role as head of the Spanish league bodyhead of the Spanish league.

Tebas accused of false evidence

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Barcelona possibly escaping a fine from prosecutors in the ongoing Casa Negreira bribery and corruption case.

The Catalans have received good news after it emerged the exhibits submitted by La Liga president, Tebas against the club are said to be false.

Tebas had previously demanded that two ex-Barcelona presidents be investigated as their surnames appeared in the evidence he had provided.
