FC Sion forward, Mario Balotelli has paid a glowing tribute to Italian giants, Inter Milan for playing a huge role in his career as a footballer.
Balotelli grew up through the ranks at the Nerazzurri and became one of the most sought-after youngsters due to his enormous talent.
The Italian forward was a member of the Inter Milan team that won an unprecedented treble during the 2009/10 season, under the guidance of Portuguese manager, Jose Mourinho.
Although he left after that season, Balotelli admitted the Italian club still holds a special place in his heart and he is still a huge fan.

“I owe Inter a lot. I loved them and I still love them very much; even in my heart, I’m a Milan fan... I owe practically my entire career to Inter because they launched me and believed in me, I owe Moratti everything," he told the Muschio Selvaggio podcast, as quoted by SempreInter.
Balotelli also discussed winning Serie A, the Coppa Italia, and the Champions League.
“I’ll tell you the truth, I didn’t believe in it, I didn’t think about it. Winning everything seemed too big to be true, I saw it as a dream.”
The striker scored 20 goals in 59 appearances for Inter Milan before joining Man City, where his career took a bit of a hit following several controversies.
He has swapped teams frequently since then and these days plays for FC Sion in the Swiss league.

The former Inter Milan star was on target for the Swiss side during their top flight clash against the Grasshoppers on April 17.
It was reported the former Manchester City star joined FC Sion last summer after dumping Turkish side, Adana Demirspor.
Sports Brief also reported on FC Sion fans directing their anger at Balotelli following the team's home defeat to St Gallen.
The supporters of the club burned the ex-Inter Milan player's jerseys while chanting songs telling the 32-year-old to leave.
Sion were thrashed 4-0 by the visiting team, leaving the team on the same points as Winterthur at the foot of the table.
