- Romelu Lukaku is expected to return to Chelsea once his loan spell at Inter Milan expires
- However, the Belgian has hinted he wants to continue at the Serie A club, admitting he is not keen on Stamford Bridge return
- Lukaku's admission comes just days after Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta disclosed they have no intention of making his deal permanent
Romelu Lukaku has admitted he has no plans of reuniting with Chelsea at the end of the season once his loan spell with Inter Milan expires.
The Belgian striker rejoined Inter in the summer of 2022 after he failed to make an impact at Stamford Bridge following his sensational return to the club in 2021.
However, Lukaku has been unable to hit the ground running during his second spell, with injuries limiting him to just 13 Serie A starts so far this season.
His lack of form and consistency has somehow left Inter in a dilemma, with the club unlikely to make his deal permanent.

According to Marotta, the Belgium international is currently ‘not at his best or the player we got to see in years gone by.'
Lukaku keen on Inter stay

Speaking after scoring a brace in Inter’s 3-0 win over Empoli on Sunday, the striker declared he wants to remain at the club.
"I have an excellent relationship with the fans and I’ve always tried to give everything for Inter because it gave me the opportunity to win two years ago," he said as quoted by Metro UK.
