An Arsenal fan’s tweet begging Erling Haaland to allow his team to win the league went viral on Friday, April 21.
Things could have gone much worse for Arsenal but they somehow rescued a point against a determined Southampton.
After the game, fans took to social media to declare Arsenal had bottled the league, and among those who tweeted almost immediately after the game was Man City ace Erling Haaland, according to SportBible.
The Norwegian, who has a staggering 32 league goals in his debut campaign in the Premier League, comes up against Arsenal next, and he could not help but aim a cheeky dig at his team’s title rivals.
Haaland shared three images of him looking jovial in training and captioned it “Mood still”

Fans with long memories will recall the 22-year old had a similar reaction when Arsenal dropped points a few days ago.
While Haaland’s comment was hilarious in itself, it was a fan who stole the show with an uncanny request to the Man City marksman.
A user identified as @Ballinky went to the comments immediately after Haaland’s tweet to say:
“Please bro just let us win the league I never got to witness my club win the league please man you can win it next year.”

While the tweet was quite hilarious, it almost certainly echoed what many Arsenal fans were feeling at the moment, despair.
