FootballFans Are Convinced Arsenal's 'bottle Job' Is Complete After 3-3 Draw vs Southampton
- Fans are convinced Arsenal have bottled the Premier League after an entertaining 3-3 draw against Southampton
- The Gunners had to come from two goals down to claw the draw at the Emirates against the relegation-threatened Saints
- Arsenal are now five points ahead of Manchester City, who have two games in hand
Frustrated Arsenal fans have concluded that the “league is gone” after their side once again dropped points, this time against a determined Southampton.
Mikel Arteta’s side had to come from two goals down to salvage a 3-3 draw in a game which not many expected would go the way it did.
Southampton, who went into the game bottom of the log, stunned the league leaders at the Emirates 28 seconds into the game as Carlos Alcaraz capitalized on Aaron Ramsdale’s error to slot home.

Former Arsenal man Theo Walcott doubled his side’s lead after ghosting past Gabriel as Gabriel Martinelli pulled one back for his side going into the break.
Despite Arsenal dominating possession, Southampton’s Caleta-Car escaped his marker at the far post to head in a corner in the 66th minute.
With a 3-1 scoreline, it had to take some character from Mikel Arteta’s side to at least find an equalizer and that is exactly what they did as Captain Martin Odegaard saw his fine left-footed strike find the net, while Saka salvaged a point after pouncing on a Reiss Nelson shot.
Have Arsenal bottled it?
Immediately after the game, social media went abuzz with reactions from what was one of the gams of the season for different reasons.
Most of the fans had the same thing to say as they claimed the Gunners had blown their chance to win a first league title since 2004.

"Great comeback to get a point, but it doesn't take away from the fact that Arsenal are bottling it again. And I'm actually rooting for them this time around. I'd hate to be an actual Arsenal fan."

"They called Gary Neville delusional when he said Arsenal would bottle it close to the finish line btw"
After successive draws, Arsenal have picked up a mere three points out of a possible 9, and they come up against title rivals Manchester City in their next game.
