The Ghana Football Association through its GFA Foundation have made a donation of GHC50,000 to former U20 coach, Sellas Tetteh.
The FIFA U20 World Cup winning coach received a delegation led by president of the GFA, Kurt Okraku at his residence in Accra on Thursday.
Tetteh has been unwell for some time now, leaving many wondering if the federation is aware of his situation.
Despite receiving donations from individuals and some players, the FA used their newly formed foundation to support Mr Tetteh.

“I am happy to see to see you in good health," said the FA president, who also applauded the former coach for his invaluable and committed service to the nation.
Mr Okraku also pledged to fulfil promises made to the FIFA World Cup winner.
Tetteh led Ghana to its first-ever FIFA U20 World Cup triumph in 2009 and remains the only coach from Africa to win the prestigious tournament.
Meanwhile, Director of the GFA foundation, Malcolm Appeadu disclosed the association commitment to helping national heroes.
“We are not even a week old, but we felt it was absolutely necessary to come to you with the Foundation’s widow’s mite to facilitate your complete recovery and also towards your upkeep," Malcolm said, as quoted by the FA's website.
Tetteh was part of Ghana's technical team at the 2006 World Cup and also had stints with the Rwanda and Sierra Leone national teams.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghana's Ministry of Youth and Sports have made a donation of GHC 50,000 to former youth team coach, Sellas Tetteh.
The ex-Ghana U20 coach has been unwell for some time now and has been in and out of hospitals seeking treatment.
The FIFA U20 World Cup winning coach claimed in a recent interview that he has been neglected by the government and the Football Association, despite his exploits with the national teams.
