Arsene Wenger has weighed in on who, between Manchester City and Real Madrid, will reach the final of the UEFA Champions League.

Manchester City advanced to a third successive semi-final after knocking out Bayern Munich on a 4-1 aggregate scoreline across two legs, while Real Madrid picked Chelsea apart to reach the last four of Europe's premier club competition.

This will be the second time City and Madrid will cross paths at this stage, with the latter producing one of the most epic comebacks in Champions League history to beat Pep Guardiola's charges 6-5, en route to winning a record-extending 14th title, as the Mirror reports.

"At this time, [Manchester] City have a small advantage due to their defensive stability," the 73-year-old told beIN Sports, as quoted by Football Tweet.

Despite fancying Man City to make the final, Wenger was cautious of his choice, owing to Madrid's well-documented history in the Champions League.

"Perhaps Real Madrid is a little more vulnerable, but Madrid is Madrid. They score against anyone at any time, and that's why this tie is very open."

Wenger makes EPL title prediction

Meanwhile, Wenger also predicted the EPL winner this season, between Arsenal and Manchester City, as Sports Brief previously reported.

The Gunners and reigning champions, the Citizens have emerged as the favourites to win this season's title after incredible runs of form.

The north Londoners were initially thought to have an edge over Man City in the race but their last two outings have left the race wide open.
