Liverpool legend, John Barnes believes Ronaldinho and Jay-Jay Okocha are more naturally talented than Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldinho and Okocha thrilled fans with their skills during their playing days and their ability to make something out of nothing was simply incredible.

However, Ronaldo and Messi had far more successful careers than the former Paris-Saint Germain players.

"When you talk about two of the most naturally gifted players, not to talk about playing for a team as he can but just take the individual. The most skillful players in the world are two, Ronaldinho and Jay-Jay Okocha," he told SuperSport TV.

Barnes explained the most naturally gifted players did things meant for the training grounds and not matches, and believes the Brazilian and the Nigerian far outperform the Argentine and the Portuguese when it came to displays of pure skill.

Ronaldinho and Okocha played briefly together at French giants, PSG before the Super Eagles star left for England to join Bolton Wanderers.

Later on, the tricky Brazilian left France to join Barcelona, where he won multiple titles and the Ballon d'Or.

The upbringing of the former Super Eagles captain has been recreated for fans on the big screen and is coming to African audiences soon.

Okocha enjoyed a stellar career in Europe but little is known about his beginnings in Nigeria before leaving his homeland for overseasshores of Africa to continue his football abroad.

Sports Brief also reported on Super Eagles legend, Okocha being impressed with Victor Osimhen, with the striker making his name in the Italian league.

The Nigerian is already set to etch his name into the football history books, judging by his brilliant form for Napoli, where he tops the Serie A scoring chart.

Osimhen's brilliance in front of the goal has made him a target of many clubs in Europe, who are expected to table offers for the Italian club in the summer.
