Bayern Munich have a tough task ahead of them in the UEFA Champions League, but Thomas Muller is confident that they can turn things around.
The German side goes into their second-leg tie with Manchester City, knowing they have to overturn a three-goal deficit.
Rodri, Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland all got onto the scoresheet as the English Premier League side ran riot.
Despite the poor result in the first leg, Müller believes that his team can make a comeback, Bavarian Football Works reported.

“We believe we still have a chance. We have to get off to a good start, maybe lead 1-0 at halftime. We don’t have to go 3-0 up after 10 mins, but we need to score and keep it up. If we score the second goal in the 80th, we still have 15 mins. I believe it’s possible,” Muller said.
While the German international still has hope, Pep Guardiola is hoping his team show off their ruthless side. As noted by The Guardian, the City manager urged his side to punish Munich in the reverse fixture.
“Our mindset will be to prepare for the [Bayern] game by watching the first leg, seeing what we could do better, and how we can control the game and punish them,” he said.
The game will be contested at the Allianz Arena in Germany, and Bayern will be hoping that their home fans can inspire them to victory.
