Al-Nassr superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo was taunted by opposition fans during his side's 2-0 loss to Al-Hilal on Tuesday night, in reference to his long-time on-field rival, Lionel Messi.
It was a frustrating night for the Portuguese phenom, whose side was dealt a crushing blow thanks to a brace from Nigerian striker, Idion Ighalo at the King Fahd International Stadium.
Ighalo scored from the penalty spot in the 42nd and 62nd minutes, with the result leaving Al-Nassr three points behind Saudi Pro League leaders, Al-Ittihad.
Despite notching 11 goals in 11 appearances in the Saudi Pro League for Al-Nassr, Ronaldo could not steer his side to victory, notably attempting some form of headlock that took his bewildered opponent down, according to a video circulating on Twitter.

That epitomised a frustrating evening, with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner walking from the pitch to the tunnel.
As he exited the field, Al-Hilal fans inside the stadium were quick to taunt the Portuguese superstar with chants of 'Messi, Messi' and waved the World Cup winner's shirts in his direction, the Independent reports.
How Ronaldo reacted to chants
In a video shared on social media, Ronaldo appeared to grab his crotch area as a gesture toward those heckling him. However, he could have simply been adjusting his shorts.

Sports Brief also analysed that after Ronaldo arrived at Al-Nassr, the club seems to have fallen off for some reason - if stats are anything to go by.

Why Ronaldo paints his toenails
Sports Brief also reported on the measures Ronaldo has taken to keep himself at optimum performance, in addition to the amount of time he spends in the gym.
After uploading a photo of himself in the sauna on Instagram recently, hawk-eyed followers spotted the five-time Ballon d'Or winner had his toenails painted.
From a quick glance at his social media accounts, this is obviously not a one-time thing: Ronaldo regularly paints his toenails and for a somewhat strange reason.
