Bayern Munich winger, Sadio Mane returned to training on April 18, after serving a one-game ban for his bust-up with teammate, Leroy Sane.

The former Liverpool icon was axed from Bayern's first team as part of disciplinary measures taken against him for reportedly punching Sane in the face.

Mane and Sane were involved in a scuffle in the dressing room after a disagreement during their Champions League quarter-final first-leg tie against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium last Tuesday, per the BBC.

Aside from the suspension - missing out on Bayern's Bundesliga game against Hoffenheim - the Senegal star was slapped with a hefty fine, Mirror reports.

Mane has since returned to training as the team prepares for their make-or-break reverse fixture against the Citizens.

Following Mane's return to training, there appears to be an aura of calm as the team went through their paces in harmony.

The 31-year-old reunited with Sane and the rest of his teammates, who appear to have put the ugly incident behind them.

Tuchel backs Mane

Meanwhile, Bayern boss, Thomas Tuchel has tipped Mane to turn his fortunes at the Bavarians around after suffering a dip in form.

The Senegalese has struggled for consistency this season, netting just six goals in 19 appearances for the Bundesliga championsin the Bundesliga for the German champions.

However, Tuchel is reportedly not too bothered about Mane’s recent form and believes the former Liverpool attacker will come through again.

While the latter has been slapped with a one-game ban and a hefty fine for his misconduct, the German was left with a conspicuous injury he tried to hide.

During Bayern's Bundesliga clash with Hoffenheim on April 15, Sane sported a swollen lip as cameras got up close to view the aftermath of Mane's reported strike.
