FootballDutch Maestro Insists Bayern Midfielder Ryan Gravenberch Is Better Than Bellingham at Everything
- Iconic Dutch attacker Rafael van der Vaart has made an interesting claim about Jude Bellingham
- The 40-year-old believes Bellingham is not as good as Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch
- Despite van der Vaart's comments, Gravenberch has struggled to break into the Bayern starting XI
Bayern Munich midfielder, Ryan Gravenberch is better than the highly sought-after Jude Bellingham, according to former Dutch attacker, Rafael van der Vaart.
Bellingham has become the toast of most top clubs in Europe, with the English midfielder appearing on the radar of Liverpool and Real Madrid following his remarkable season with Borussia Dortmund this season.
However, Van der Vaart is not convinced about the abilities of the 19-year-old, who has scored four goals and provided four assists in 27 Bundesliga games this term.
He argues that his compatriot, who has found game time hard to come by since moving to Bayern Munich by comparison, is ahead of Bellingham.

"Ryan Gravenberch is better than Jude Bellingham. At everything," Van der Vaart said, as quoted by Football Tweet.
In 18 appearances so far, Gravenberch has started in just a single game for the Bavarians in the Bundesliga this season.
Former AC Milan striker and three-time Ballon d'Or winner, Marco Van Basten has suggested he made the transition from Amsterdam to Munich too early.
"I already said it last year: left too early", Marco said via Voetbalzone.
Van Basten commented on players who headed to big clubs too early and how many Dutch people underestimated the challenges these kinds of players faced.
"Then they think they are quite something, but with those kinds of clubs you enter the dressing room... Then they all say: 'Let's see it.' You really have to arrange it yourself. Your fellow players see you as a competitor. If you are good, you will succeed, but you have to come from a good family. A lot of Dutch people underestimate that."
