Former France winger Florent Malouda has opened up on his consistent campaign for Kylian Mbappe to join Premier League side Chelsea.
Mbappe is currently tied to Paris Saint-Germain until 2024 and could extend his stay in the French capital by one more year amid swirling reports of a potential move in the summer.
Spanish giants, Real Madrid are thought to be interested in acquiring the services of the 24-year-old after ditching them to prolong his stay with the perennial French champions, per the Sun.
Amid the uncertainty surrounding his future, Florent Malouda wants Mbappe to consider a move to the Premier League, revealing he has been trying to convince his compatriot to join Chelsea.

“I’ve been campaigning for him to join Chelsea for a very long time! So far, I’ve failed (laughs), but I will keep trying.“ Malouda said as quoted by GFFN.
He touted the Blues as the perfect destination that will suit the ambitions of Mbappe.
"Hopefully, we will see him in the Premier League, because that is the most competitive league in the world - it would be great to see him here.
“There are not that many teams that can give him what he wants, and there are not that many teams that can build their team around him.

Sports Brief also reported that Kylian Mbappe is displeased with Paris Saint-Germain’s excessive use of his image rights following the club’s new campaign to promote ticket sales for the 2023/24 season.
