A football fan warmed the heart of Lionel Messi during Paris Saint-Germain's warm-up session ahead of their Ligue 1 clash with title rivals RC Lens on Saturday evening.
In the said game, Messi churned out a superlative performance laced with a stunning goal to help PSG waltz past 10 men Lens at Parc des Princes.
The diminutive Argentine playmaker linked up beautifully with Frenchman Kylian Mbappe before applying a neat finish, which proved to be a landmark strike, helping him become the top scorer in Europe's top five leagues - sharing the honours with eternal rival Cristiano Ronaldo.
But before the action kick-started, Messi was involved in a heart-melting moment with a fan in the stands.

What happened?
While Messi and his teammates went through their paces in preparation for the Lens assignment, a conscious fan heaped praises on the 35-year-old.

That changed everything, and by half-time, the hosts were out of sight thanks to three goals in the space of 10 minutes from Kylian Mbappe, Vitinha and then Messi, with Przemyslaw Frankowski pulling one back for Lens from a penalty.
