Napoli marksman Victor Osimhen has emerged as the outright favourite to win the Serie A Golden Boot award this season.
The Nigeria international has been in flawless form this term, with his exploits in front of the goal putting Napoli in a pole position to secure the Italian top-flight title.
Osimhen has scored an eyewatering 21 goals in just 23 Serie A appearances, with the haul enough to have him top the goalscorers charts.
Ten of Osimhen's 21 goals have been scored at home, while the 11 have been netted away from home, meaning Osimhen has been averaging 0.99 goals per 90 minutes.

The tally means this is Osimhen's best season with Napoli since he joined them back in 2020 from Lille.
Inter Milan's Lautaro Martínez is placed second on the goalscorers charts after finding the back of the net 14 times in 29 matches.
Atalanta ace Ademola Lookman and MBala Nzola of Spezia are tied in third with 13 goals each, with the former making four more appearances than Nzola's 24.
Meanwhile, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia of Napoli and Roma's Paulo Dybala complete the top five podium, with the latter boasting 11 goals and six assists in just 22 games.

Elsewhere, Ciro ImmobileImmobile and Dusan Vlahovic are not in the top 10 list of the leading goalscorers after struggling in front of the goal.

FootballImmobile, who has won the Serie A Golden Boot on four occasions, has scored nine goals in the Serie A this season, while Vlahovic has eight.
