Jose Mourinho has warned Feyenoord to cut down on their 'obsession for revenge' after their previous encounter in the UEFA Europa Conference League final.
Mourinho helped AS Roma break their 14-year trophy drought by guiding them to victory over Feyenoord in Tirana, Albania in the inaugural final.
Departed star, Nicolo Zaniolo got the only goal of the game in the 34th minute and Roma held on to it with a disciplined defensive output and some masterstroke goalkeeping from Rui Patricio.
The two sides have been drawn against each other in the quarter-final of this year's UEFA Europa League, with the first leg currently ongoing in the Netherlands and the return leg in Rome next week, according to Football Oranje.

Mourinho warns Feyenoord
The Special One had a message for their opponents, advising they put revenge out of their minds as it would not change the previous year's result.
He sent this note of warning to the Dutch side ahead of the game.
"It seems that everyone here is still obsessed with last year's final. But, you know what? I have lost many times in my career, 25 years of wins and losses," Mourinho told Vandaag Inside, as quoted by Roma Press.
Mourinho added that one could not win a game they had lost and said 'it was over'.
"Even if Feyenoord were to win 10-0 tonight, they would not win last year’s game... I don’t care any more about last season. I’m interested in this season and today’s match. We face a good team, an excellent team. So we have to show our best side, we have to be very good to reach the semi-finals."

FootballMourinho bemoans Roma depth
Sports Brief also reported on Mourinho questioning Roma's lack of depth with his comments regarding Bayern Munich's substitutes a few weeks ago.
His team saw off Real Sociedad in the round of 16 but the former Chelsea boss believes the result could have been more convincing with a deeper squad.
Mourinho mentioned Bayern bringing on Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sane, and Sadio Mane off the bench and he believes this approach would help AS Roma.
