Ben Chilwell has taken to his social media pages to apologise to Chelsea fans following his red card against Real Madrid last night.
The Blues were outclassed by 14-time European champions, Real Madrid, in the quarter-final of the UEFA Champions League on a cold night at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
A goal in either half by reigning Ballon d'Or winner Karim Benzema and substitute Marco Asensio, who scored within three minutes of coming on in the second half was enough to see off Chelsea.
With the team failing to score last night, they have now gone four games without scoring, a run dating back to the 2-0 loss to Aston Villa and the first time in 30 years, according to Athletic UK.
