According to Sportbible, there is now a positive atmosphere around the Emirates, much to the relief of club owner Stan Kroenke.

Flamini hints at Arsenal takeover

However, it seems Kroenke won't be sitting pretty for long, with Flamini, a former Arsenal star, hinting at a possible takeover in the future.

The Frenchman is believed to have forged a successful business career long after retiring from the game.

He has launched several ventures during the period, with one of his companies estimated to be worth an eyewatering £10 billion.

This, no doubt, puts him in a better position financially to launch a possible Arsenal takeover bid.

And the former player has not ruled out such a scenario, divulging to The Athletic:

"Obviously, those clubs have a special place in my heart. I never forget where I come from."
"We'll see what the future is made of. I'm a believer. If you want something very much, the universe usually brings it to you. Let’s see what the universe will bring," he added.

EPL table after Arsenal draw

Sports Brief also reported on Arsenal remaining atop the standings in the Premier League despite dropping points against Liverpool.

The north Londoners were forced to a 2-2 draw at Anfield on Sunday, with the Reds staging a comeback to secure a point.

Only six points are now separating the Gunners at the top with second-placed Manchester City, who have a game in hand.
