What did the pundits say?

After the game, pundits of the game offered their assessment of the duel between Vinicius and James, with former Arsenal and Barcelona striker Thierry Henry hailing the Brazilian winger.

“When I see Vinicius on the ball… he’s cooking.”

Ferdinand, a former Manchester United defender, told BT Sport, as quoted by Football London:

“Vinicius Junior showed no respect to Reece James tonight. Whenever Vini had the ball, he went straight at James.” “He will do the same at Stamford Bridge. He and Rodrygo play wide and high.”

Ancelotti wows with touchline skills

While Vini dazzled on the right flank, his head coach Carlo Ancelotti rolled back the hands of time to show off some slick touchline skills during Real Madrid's Champions League quarterfinal tie against Chelsea on Wednesday night, Sports Brief reported.

Ancelotti's side, Real Madrid, comfortably beat the Premier League side to take one step towards the semi-finals with a two-nil victory in the first leg held at the Santiago Bernabeu.

With his hands in his pocket, Ancelotti joggled the ball for a short while, then volleyed the ball back towards the pitch, much to the amusement of the fans.
