The Zimbabwean player has been in superb form since departing the DStv Premiership for Ligue 1.
He was snapped up by Stade de Reims from Orlando Pirates at the conclusion of the 2018/19 season after impressing in the colours of the Buccaneers.
His excellent form has not gone unnoticed, with the league itself considering Munetsi a breakout star among five players for this season.

Ligue 1 hailed the Zimbabwean for his outstanding form, translated as follows:
"Indeed, his tally of six goals makes him the Champagne club’s joint second-best marksman behind Balogun, who has 18. The 26-year-old is a powerful, rampaging presence in midfield, precious going forward as well as when it comes to doing the dirty work."
The other four who share this honour are Habib Diallo (RC Strasbourg Alsace), Enzo Le Fée (FC Lorient), Branco van den Boomen (Toulouse FC), and Kevin Danso (RC Lens).
Munetsi lands on Brighton's radar
Sports Brief had previously reported on how Munetsi's outstanding performance had caught the eye of a Premier League club in England.
He was said to be a possible target of Brighton but they would have to pay up a lot of money for the Zimbabwean if they were seriously were interested in his services.
At the time, FARPost had reported that Ligue 1 club, Stade de Reims has already attempted to block any moves on him by extending his stay in France until 2026.
