South African Trainer Pitso Mosimane Finally Receives Coach of the Month Award in Saudi Arabia

Pitso Mosimane has received his accolade for winning the March coach of the month award in the Saudi First Division League.

The South African trainer guided Al Ahli to top of the table after a hard fought victory against Al Ain over the weekend.

In a photo shared on social media, Mosimane is seen with his trophy after the presentation.

Before April begun, Mosimane had won three of his four matches in March.

Al Ahli defeated Ohod Club 2-0 in the first game of March before victories over Jeddah Club and Najran followed.

However, the former Al Ahly gaffer ended the month on a losing note after Al Riyadh stopped Al Ahli at home.

Mosimane bounced back with back-to-back wins in the last two games with victories over Al-Jabalain and Al Ain.

The South African coach is on course to leading the Saudi outfit to the topflight league and his side sit top of the table.

With eight games remaining, Mosimane needs at least three wins to confirm promotion.

The 58-year-old joined Al Ahli last year after leaving Egyptian giants Al Ahly, where he won the CAF Champions League.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Pitso Mosimane has given his thoughts in the 'greatest of all time' debate.

The respected South African coach, now in charge of Al Ahli Saudi, was asked about the greatest left winger he had ever seen playing football.

Answering on his Tik Tok page, Mosimane responded diplomatically in choosing two players.

Al Ahli Saudi coach, Pitso Mosimane has thrown rumour-mongers a morsel to chew on for the next while.

The respected tactician has given an interesting response about his future when it comes to coaching a national football team again.

Speaking on his Tik Tok page, the former Bafana Bafana boss said.
