The Super Falcons of Nigeria continued with their impressive form this year, after beating New Zealand 3-0 in an international friendly encounter on April 11.

After all their efforts, the Super Falcons eventually got the breakthrough in the 34th minute through captain, Onome Ebi, who fired home a cross from Michelle Alozie.
The first half ended with the Nigerian girls taking a 1-0 lead heading into the dressing room.
In the second half, the Super Falcons came out more aggressively and waited only four minutes before netting their second goal through Jennifer Onyi Echegini.
The international friendly tie eventually ended 3-0 in favour of the Super Falcons, with Desire Oparanozie netting the third goal at the death.
