Wrexham then went into the lead courtesy of Elliot Lee, who converted Mullin’s cross, but that was not the last of the drama, as reported on BBC.
Late in the game, Notts County had a chance to ruin the party for Wrexham, but Ben Foster, who came out of retirement aged 40, made a terrific save to deny Cedwyn Scott.
“Holywood ending”
It was a brilliant game of football, with Foster stealing the show thanks to his heroics late on, with Wrexham substitutes sprinting full pelt to hail the veteran shot stopper.
The win sees Wrexham significantly boost their promotion chances as they are in first place with a massive 100 points, three ahead of their rivals Notts County with a game in hand.
