Ivorian winger, Amad Diallo said he is ready to prove himself at Manchester United after an impressive loan spell at Sunderland.

The 20-year-old forward is enjoying a magnificent campaign with the Black Cats, having scored 11 goals in 32 English Championship games.

Diallo joined the Red Devils from Atalanta in 2021 as a teenager, for a record fee, but has spent time on loan with Rangers and now Sunderland.

The Ivory Coast international is expected to return to Old Trafford in the summer and fight for a position in Erik ten Hag's first team.

“I haven’t shown my best for [United] yet, but I hope next season I can return and prove my talent. My dream is to play regular football at Manchester United," he told FourFourTwo.
“I know it was a lot of money, but I didn’t really think about that; there’s no reason to worry about things you can’t influence. I was so happy to sign for Manchester United: it’s a club with a massive history, famous all around the world," Diallo added.

The talented winger burst onto the scene after incredible performances for Atalanta in the Serie A in 2020.

Diallo sends ten Hag message

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on the internet lighting up after Diallo's superb solo goal against Birmingham on November 11, 2022.

The youngster’s goal doubled the lead for Sunderland to put them well on course for victory at at St Andrews Stadium.

The Black Cats initially took the lead through Ellis Simms in the 25th minute before the Ivorian produced a moment of individual brilliance.

United chase Mohammed Kudus' signature

Sports Brief also reported on Man United intensifying its pursuit of Ghanaian midfielder, Mohammed Kudus.

The Black Stars man has attracted interest following his displays for Ajax Amsterdam in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Kudus has already starred with 18 goals and provided five assists across all competitions for his team this season.
