Real Madrid legend Marcelo Vieira is finally up and running after he scored a screamer for Fluminese in the final of the Campeonato Carioca.
Marcelo lifted the stadium's roof with a sensational strike from outside the box at the half-hour mark.
Shortly after, German Cano doubled the lead for the home side and drew Fluminese level on aggregate after they lost the first leg 2-0 a fortnight ago.
Cano, the veteran Argentine forward, went on to grab his second and the team's third after recess before 19-year-old midfielder Alexsander put the game beyond the reach of Flamengo in the 65th minute.

Ayrton Lucas pulled one back and set up a nervy finish in the dying embers of the game, but it proved only a consolation, as Fluminese held on to scoop the Campeonato Carioca on a 4-3 aggregate win across two legs, per Metropoles.
The trophy marks Marcelo's first silverware with his boyhood club in just his second outing for the Rio de Janeiro-based team.

Marcelo joins boyhood club
With over 30,000 Fluminense supporters attending his unveiling at the Maracana Stadium, Marcelo received a hero's welcome as he returned home in February, ESPN reports.
The former Real Madrid left-back left Olympiakos in Greece after only 10 appearances to sign a two-year agreement with the Brazilian club.
Marcelo now dons the same number 12 jersey he wore at Los Blancos and is anticipated to play as a midfielder for Fluminense.
