Liverpool's hosting of Arsenal at the Anfield Stadium on April 9th lived up to its billing, with both sides going for the jugular.
It was a game that had been earmarked as one of those that could decide who will be crowned the Premier League champion for the season.
Uncharacteristically, Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool are out of the running, but Arsenal are chasing a first league title since 2004.
Arsenal raced into a 2-0 lead within the first 30 minutes, with Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus finding the back of the net. Mohamed Salah pulled one back three minutes to halftime to set up a grand finish before the break.

However, much talk will be centred around Paul Tierney's decisions, with the official dishing out five cards in the first half. The hosts got three, but more peculiarly, will be the one awarded to Andrew Robertson.
The Scot was yellow-carded after the halftime whistle had gone, with captain Jordan Henderson leading the inquisition as to why his teammate had been booked.
Video evidence has now shown that the Reds fullback was elbowed by the linesman. Robertson appeared to voice his discontent with the linesman before Constantine Hatzidakis (linesman) swung his arm and appeared to catch the 29-year-old.
Whether accidental or intentional, it is an incident that is bound to raise questions.
Sports Brief has also reported that Trent-Alexander Arnold destroyed Oleksandr Zinchenko with a sublime nutmeg to set up Roberto Firmino for a last-gasp Liverpool equaliser on April 9th.

FootballThe end-to-end game at Anfield ended with both teams sharing the spoils, a result that will be wildly celebrated by Manchester City.
With the game getting out of Liverpool's grasp, Alexander-Arnold took initiative with a sublime nutmeg on Zinchenko before floating the ball over the area. His characteristic cross caught an unmarked Firmino, who rose highest to send the ball past Aaron Ramsdale.
